Qumul Sounding Sandhill

Lies in northwest in White Rock, is
over 70 kilometers away Hami city, in the wide big
grassland, appears a sandhill which is 5 kilometers
long ,over 50 meters high, sand grain is thin and
without earth, there is a spring in the hill, water
grass are flourish around it, Liutiaohe river flows
at the foot of the hill. When a breeze or traveler
slide down from hill,
so may hear various voices, stronger like the roll
of the thunder, weaker like melodious fluting, so
is called the Sounding Sandhill.
