Balikun Lake,In ancient time it was called Pulei sea and is an alpine lake , at the altitude of 1585 meters above sea level.

It is surrounded by mountains,there are many Kazak Shepherds living around the lake .The lake is made of spring waters ,it is about 12km in length and 20Km in width.It is a beautiful summer tourist resort.
