Lanzhou Zhongshan Iron Bridge

 





Zhongshan Iron Bridge, located at the middle part of Riverside Road, is at the foot of White Pagoda Park. It is the earliest bridge on the Yellow River,bridge is known as "The First Bridge over the Yellow River". 250 Meters long and eight
meters wide, it has five arches resting on four piers. It first built in 1372 rebult construction of this bridge started in 1907 and was completed in 1910 by a German engineering firm. But 5 steel archways were added in 1954 for
reinforcing the bridge.
