It lies in the hill which is far away
northeastern Kuqa 40 kilometers of two bank of the
stream in Kulukdage mountain ,there are numbered cave
52,most of them are Caitya Caves, Vihara Cave is a
few. The history of the cave can be dated as eraly
as the 3rd century, most parts of the mural paintings
belong to South and North Dynasty, the latest mural
painting belongs to the early of Huihu Gaochang Era,
it is famous for several big statues cave and famous
for described various animals in mural painting.
